Solo Performances

Growing up in Portsmouth Kelly went on to study a higher diploma in musical theatre and soon after moved to London where she acquired a Bachelor of Music degree at a specialised vocal college (Vocaltech).

Kelly has developed skills in production, songwriting, performance and session work singing backing vocals on various projects including big names such as Brian Eno and Damon Albarn and recently supported incognito on their world tour.

Kelly has been a soloist in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Wembley and The Royal Festival Hall. Her gospel, soul, disco and house music influences transform her original music into a very alive, upbeat and funky set. She has headlined venues such as The Bedford, Proud Galleries, The Concorde Club and Ronnie Scott’s and has also run her own gig nights in London and Portsmouth.

As standard Kelly provides:
– Up to 2 hours of live music, split into sets as required
– Amplification for medium-sized venues.
– PAT tested equipment
– Public Liability Insurance
– flexible to meet the needs of your special event
– Full band or live pianist accompaniment also available on request

Kelly is available for bookings in Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, London and the South East.

With a group of players and as a solo act I have been performing function sets at weddings, restaurants, hotels, and private parties up and down the country for the past eleven years.

I have worked with many big events companies and agents providing entertainment for their specialised clients. This includes summer festivals such as ‘common people’ and ‘Victorious’, secret location London Parties and high-end corporate clients

For each event the music is tailored to the guests and spans from a mix of genres from the past five decades. I also DJ’s at private parties and corporate events across the UK.


My lessons are tailored to my students’ needs from the initial time of their introduction and continuing through the duration of their lessons. I ensure I get to know my students. I aim to meet their requirements by working on of different aspects of singing.

These include confidence, breathing, varied vocal techniques and performance skills to ensure progress. We also though ability levels an opportunity to do annual external examinations. Grades one through to Diploma level in both Musical Theatre and Popular music.

I have experience in classical, musical theatre, pop, soul, funk, rock, gospel and many other alternative styles. I use a mixture of CDs and keyboard led vocal exercises with my students as well as notation and music theory.

I have been coaching singers for the past seven years in London studios, for Dorset music service, Hampshire music service, stagecoach, independent schools and private tutoring from home.

Teaching a wide range of students ranging from five years of age to adults in their mid-forties, all of varying abilities.

All pupils are given targets to help them meet their individual goals. These are set as termly goals and also week-on-week tasks.
